Checking is Part of the Game is a hockey-driven initiative that aims to highlight some of the community’s best body checks while encouraging men to check themselves for testicular cancer. BRFZY and Testicular Cancer Society are teaming up to spark conversations, break stigma, and remind men that early detection saves lives.
Now, it’s your turn to get in the game. Download our media package and create your own BRFZY x TCS branded hitting compilation – because nothing gets the boys fired up like a hard hit. Showcase your best checks, rep the cause, and help us spread the word. The harder you hit, the louder the message: CHECKING IS PART OF THE GAME.

BRFZY has partnered with Testicular Cancer Society (TCS), a US-based non-profit, to raise awareness about testicular cancer in both Canada and the United States. Ariz, Founder of BRFZY, and Mike, Founder of TCS, are both survivors of testicular cancer. United by their shared experience and passion for men’s health advocacy, they have joined forces to spread awareness about this highly curable disease.
Ariz Bhimani is a testicular cancer survivor who turned his personal battle into a mission to help others take control of their recovery. Facing the physical and emotional toll of treatment, he realized the need for better recovery solutions and founded BRFZY to empower athletes and active individuals with high-quality recovery products.
How to do Self - Exams
Step 1. Warm Shower or Bath
Self-exams are best done during or after a warm shower or bath, when the scrotum is relaxed. Check for any scrotal skin swelling.

Step 2. Both Hands
Examine each testicle with both hands. Place the index and middle fingers under the testicle with the thumbs placed on top
Firmly but gently roll the testicle between the thumbs and fingers to feel for any irregularities on the surface or texture of the testicle.

Step 3. Epididymis
Find the epididymis, a soft rope-like structure on the back of the testicle. If you are familiar with this structure, you won’t mistake it for a suspicious lump.

Ball Checker App
Let the Ball Checker mobile app remind you to examine your testicles regularly. It’s recommended that you do it once a month. This way you’ll get to know what’s normal and there is enough time between self-exams to notice any differences. Always report any changes to your doctor without delay.
